"Life appears to me too short to be spent in nursing animosity or registering wrongs." - Charlotte Bronte

"Reality show" women seem constantly in personal battles, "nursing animosity and registering wrongs." In the REAL life of REAL women small battles for control, for being "noticed," or for FAUX victories (like throwing the best dinner party) are the last thing in our lives that matter!! The terror and beauty, the great struggles and joys of life and love are played out in the EXCEPTIONALISM of ordinary women doing extraordinary things everyday. From women who care for others in playrooms, day rooms, and classrooms; to those who manage America's board and courtrooms; or make breakthroughs in medicine and science, our collective and individual lives matter too much to play small games. Our REAL LIVES are "too short" for the mediocre scoreboard that makes a game of counting grievances.
