Monday Mantra 207

February 20, 2017

“We will not walk in fear, one of another. We will not be driven by fear into an age of unreason. Dig deep in our history and doctrine, we are not descended from fearful men and women afraid to speak, but from people that defended causes that were for the moment unpopular." - Edward Murrow

Fear is a terrible master; it demands payments of our courage, intelligence and “reason.” Fear attaches to our worry; real and supposed suffering; defeats and confusion. Fear’s biggest enemy is awareness. Awake and aware we “dig deep into our history,” and find our brave center. Join the history of brave souls who stood up to bigotry, injustice, cruelty and fear. Inspire future generations who hear our brave story and make their stand!
