Understanding comes FIRST! More essential than knowledge, or information or even experience, understanding is the keystone to personal growth that leads to wisdom. We must first recognize the blinders we wear that shape how we view and understand ourselves internally. When we’re able to discard those blinders and see the truth of who we are, authentic and real, then we are able to see our shared humanity and better hear the voices of others speaking truth from their contexts and in their own time and space. Understand and enter the great field, the wide and generous space where “differences” are mere distractions and healing becomes possible. Understand yourself and personal inner peace creates peace between us all.
