If we want certainty, to be “safe,” and uncomplicated, we are living on the wrong planet! This beautiful blue sphere we call Earth is in a constant state of upheaval, re-forming everything from glaciers to volcanoes to entire mountain ranges, down to tiny ecosystems. We are always a part of that natural, organic flow; to believe otherwise is foolish. Here is our Opportunity: engage the inevitable, entire, changing reality and gain knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. A “sustainable” future requires us to EMBRACE uncertainty and complexity so essential long-term solutions match this present moment on earth.
