“Fame was never the goal. You can’t do any good writing when you are trying to be famous.” – Pete Hamill

Unfortunately “fame” is often “the goal” of social media. “We can’t do good writing,” or thinking, create music or Art focused on “fame.” Having our name out in the world we may trade off original, edgy, truthful work. Fame, like popularity, is limited. Remember middle school? “Originals” need courage to dig deeper, find new pathways and ask uncomfortable questions. Trust your unique voice, “fame” can’t match integrity!
