“A woman who knows the ropes isn’t likely to get tied up.” – Mae West

There’s a game being played. But, if you don’t know the name of the game, you can’t know the rules. If you don’t know the rules you can’t play! And, you’ll never win. “Know the ropes,” otherwise you’re kept out, made to feel small and inconsequential. Ignored. Loser. If the rules, weapons, or enemies are too much for you, if others cheat, whine, or change the rules, you can decide whether to go all in or go limp in or quit! But, whatever you do don’t allow yourself “to get tied up.”
