"I believe you are your work. Don't trade the very stuff of your life, time, for nothing more than dollars. That's a rotten bargain." - Rita Mae Broom

Do what you love! "Trade the very stuff of your life," and there won't be any life left, we will have struck the "rotten bargain" that cheats us of the joy of doing the work we love! If that seems in conflict with what you MUST do to pay the bills, to take care of yourself and others, STOP, calm and reassess. Ask yourself: "Is there something in this work that gives me more than dollars?" "Is this work both soul and life enhancing even in small ways?" "Does it give me an opportunity to be creative, solve problems, and BE RECOGNIZED? Does it give me the opportunity of self-expression, to add value, to grow in new ways, maybe ways I hadn't expected but give me joy?" If your inquiry is NOT positive, if you feel you are cheating yourself and settling for LESS than ALL OF WHO YOU ARE, then decide now to strike a new bargain with yourself and your work, so what you DO is WHO YOU ARE!
