"To the degree that we look clearly and compassionately at ourselves we feel confident and fearless about looking into someone else’s eyes." - Pema Chodron
Courage, gratitude, grace, confidence and beauty all follow when compassion rules the heart and mind. Compassion for oneself is often the most difficult to find and sustain in our hyper-competitive, externalized lives. But self-compassion must be our goal if we hope to spread love, fearlessness and belief among those we love. We are called to be an example of self-compassion if we hope to create and sustain a mutually caring world.
