Monday Mantra 234

October 2, 2017

"Vitriolic hatred, enraged self righteousness is on the right and as much vitriolic hatred exists now on the left. The only sacred and safe, conscious and whole place, is the place I never thought I could stand and that place is in the middle." - Ruby Sales

“Middle Way,” taught in philosophies of Buddhists, Sufis and Yogi’s and known as “The Good Red Road” among Native Americans, is the space between extremes where clarity and sanity reside. People who gather in the “Sacred and safe, conscious and whole place” are courageous in the grip of uncertainty and complexity. Speak well-considered, deep truths. Hold the center, extend compassion. “Vitriolic hatred” is not for heroes.
