The hardships and joys of saying “yes” to “good deeds” are equal and boundless. Look around, take a deep breath, state your intention and dig in anyway! Give of yourself “near home” and understand our community is more real to us when we are up close and personal to those who need us. The holy, ordinary, sacred and profane need our “good deeds;” right where we are and right now.
