"A people that values privileges above its principles soon loses both."
- Dwight Eisenhower

“Principles” in our over-heated, “product over process,” competitive culture, must be anchored to our truest values or they no longer serve us. “Privileges” are often UN-earned by sweat equity, by love, unselfish unity and shared goals. “Principles” stabilize our egos and tie us to values of co-creation and deep caring. “Principles” create heroes, large and small, and drive us back to right-intention and action. “Privileges” are gifts of our efforts as a united people. Our “Principles” are the foundation that make union a reality.
