Monday Mantra 108

March 30, 2015

"You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along" - Eleanor Roosevelt

Real, raw fear offers us an opportunity. It may be a shake-to-roots-gut-wrenching horror; yet to face fear, can bring forth what is strongest in us! Fear can teach us to use mind-emotional-spiritual muscle, insight, and inspiration we may not have known we had. We learn more about ourselves and our ability to push back against negative fear-based influences. Fear awakens creativity and opens doors to courage, confidence, wisdom and gratitude. Say, “I can take the next thing,” and YOU CAN!
