The Inspiration

Bobbie’s dream life had always been a huge part of her experience. Her dreams were so vivid and large that they almost scared her; so she trained herself to shut them down. It wasn’t until 1987, when Bobbie bought a ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley along the Central California coastline, that her dreams started to open up again. She started working with a Jungian therapist and also with Native American dream workers. “The more you study your dreams, the bigger the dreams get,” she has said. “When you accept your dreams, you open up parts of your brain, and you connect to the cosmos. If you use dreams selfishly, you will not get the right perceptions. If you open your heart to a higher purpose, they will come to you purely.”

Take a Peek Inside The Book

Bobbie’s first dreams after moving to the Santa Ynez Valley were catastrophic. She dreamt that California was on fire. “The entire spinal column of the state was afire, in my dreams.” A voice in her head was speaking to her, she has said; “the same voice I’d had in my dreams since I was twelve.” The prescient speaker told Bobbie that “an illegitimate president would bring down the Constitution of the United States.” At the end of five nights of the same dream - a mental visualization which included American kids trekking through destroyed terrain with backpacks on their shoulders - she woke up and started writing it all down. “There was Meera, telling me a story, and I just got up and wrote it all out on 14 pages of a yellow legal pad. And then I told Meera I’d have to get back to her after work!”

Bobbie’s brain was taking all her dreams and weaving them together into the series titled THE ROAD TO THE REMEMBERING.

The overarching theme of the series, beginning with the first book, The Three, is that all creation shares a connection, a unity, to which mankind must awaken before it destroys itself. From the start of mankind, we have pushed against the universal connection by wanting selfish goals fulfilled. But we are, in fact, One - and it’s our job to find the elements of Unity, and re-connect them.
