"Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated." - Coretta Scott King

“Hate” is a heart-mind-spirit killer. Its useless “burden” weighs us down. We don’t get what we really want: a life that matters beyond our small self. “Hate” poisons clear well of forgiveness; turns decency and respect into toxic downhill streams. We may injure others with our hatred, refusing to listen, care and understand, but we drink from the same well until the toxic waste dump we have become “is too great a burden to bear.”
