"If you risk your life do it out of love and to right injustice. It takes more courage to challenge unjust authority without violence than it takes to kill all the monsters in all the stories told to children about the meaning of bravery." - Riane Eisler
Courage is often misunderstood unless you wear a uniform and badge. But face down a bully, take to the stage to sing or dance or speak truth to power and you know courage "without violence" comes in many varieties. "Courage" demands personal integrity to "challenge" our fear of "unjust authority." Each courageous act prepares us for those that "risk our life" for "love" and to "right justice;" those are ones that transform the world.
