"Choose goals that require every part of you! Goals that inspire united action of mind, body and spirit challenge our fears, changing the small self of limitations into the universe of unlimited possibility."

Message From Bobbie:

Use all of who you are to make resolutions successful, powerful tools. In January, we learned to align Resolution with Reality by making a commitment to serve our own best selves instead of making resolutions to please others. This month, we will learn to commit to our whole selves - mind, body, spirit and emotion - to the Resolution.

Unity of the whole, leaving no part of us out of the resolution, creates the highest level of energy for the goals we choose. When we are “all in,” focused and dynamic, our energy motivates the universe to support us. Until then, even the right resolution for the right reason lacks the power of commitment and passion to produce empowered results.

Featured Journal Entry:

A Commitment to Wholeness

“Strategy! I came to hate that word! I had a strategy, timeline and goals for work, to lose weight, to find the perfect mate, and even to be a better parent. I was a genius at strategies that produced wimpy, watered down results, until I realized the solution was giving myself permission to play full out!”

Kathy’s explanation of how her Rise Up! process changed her life was funny and ironic. “Intellectual, analytical strategies are great at work,” she said. “But applied to personal resolutions, they didn’t stimulate my natural passion for life! Even completed goals felt unsatisfactory and a little limp.”

At Rise Up! we come to understand The Four Fold Path: mind, body, spirit and emotions and we learn to create the powerful whole we truly are as humans.

Featured Exercise:

Resolution to Reality is enlivened, inspired, successful andsustainable when the whole self, nothing left out to diminish or dilute, becomes our personal commitment and receives our empowered respect. Wholeness leads to unlimited possibilities.

{Tip: this is a great exercise to share with a trusted advisor. Interview each other through the steps for maximum effect!}

  1. “All of me, why not take all of me…” Yes, they are lyrics to an old song. But one that we feel. WHY? Because we know that feeling! It’s that fully-alive-but-not-carried- away WHOLENESS. Close your eyes; feel it now. Remember that time, as an adventurous child, as a woman falling in love with life, a partner, with dance, song, art, teaching, accomplishment; being alive as “woman.”
  2. Let NOTHING get in the way of positive memory. Ground yourself in that image and ALL that comes with it. What was your body doing? What message was your spirit responding to? How did your mind focus? Feel challenge, joy, magic, dynamism! BE IT NOW! VISUAL memory is your guide.
